An emotional friends to lovers romance full of risky secrets and late-night lessons in seduction.
Dylan is my best friend, and the only person in my life who understands me. He doesn’t mind my social awkwardness or my weird history. The only glitch? He doesn’t know that I’ve been hopelessly, desperately in love with him since the first day we picked apples together in his family’s orchard. But I know better than to confess.
Now that we’re both in college together, I’m seeing a new side of him. College Dylan drinks and has a lot of sex. None of it with me.
Until the night I foolishly ask him to tutor me in more than algebra…and he actually says yes.
But the cool morning light shows me how badly I’ve endangered our friendship. And I don’t know if anything will be the same again.
I have no control when it comes to Sarina Bowen, I just end up reading her books in a straight day or two, because I cannot put them down! The latest installment in the True North series was no exception! This time it was focusing on the youngest Shipley man, Dylan. I feel like we don't get to know a lot about Dylan in the other books, so it was fun to see his perspective in this one.

We met Chastity in one of of the other books, and she is a little naive, or at least that's what a lot of people think, because of her upbringing. She's not really the good girl that people think she is, so of course I loved her. I didn't totally love that kind-of-sorta love triangle in this book, but don't worry there is no cheating in this book.

Dylan is a BROKEN boy, and it made me so sad. He was carrying around a lot of guilty but NEVER says anything to his family. So he flits through life a lot mostly because he is SCARED of everything. So he really won my heart, but then he kept messing everything up! Don't worry, he figures it out...eventually.

Like a lot of the other books in this series, this book deals with some heavy topics, like cults and grief. It also has really great moment of brevity and banter that I love. I really enjoy this series, and never thought I would be into sexy farmers, but here we are! This one is definitely a great installment to the series.
