Mac
A good cop can always spot trouble. That’s why my senses started pinging the moment I met the hottie next door. The neighborhood may never be the same. First she confuses me for a male stripper and tries to remove my uniform. (The guys on the force will never let me live that down.) And then there’s the breaking and entering.
I don’t know what to do with her. My libido has a few ideas of its own, though. Bad, bad ideas.

Meg
Hey, it’s not my fault that Hot Cop’s nightstick gets excited every time we see each other. And I can’t help that someone broke into his apartment.
Fine—that last thing was totally my fault. And I intend to make amends. So when he needs a date for his sister’s wedding, I’m there. This is right up my alley. I’m an actor. By the time it’s over, his entire family will believe we’re a couple.
Even him.

Warning: may cause unrestrained giggling in public. Contains: a bridezilla with a turkey leg, a flash mob, and a growly hero.

I haven't read any of the other books in the Man Hands series, but it totally didn't matter when I read Man Cuffed by Sarina Bowen and Tanya Eby! I felt like the story stood alone enough that it didn't matter. Also this book started up with a hilarious start that I was cackling.

This book was kind of hilarious, and I loved that Meg just completely leaned into the drama queen thing. I also really loved Mac, but wanted to shake him for being so closed off. To be fair the stuff with his brother and his ex was really hard to deal with. I think I might be the same way too.

I liked these two together, so it super bummed me out that Mac just kept hiding his true feelings. Like, buddy, my buddy, just date the lady already! Never fear though, this book has a HEA! So yay!

Oh, I almost forgot! Mac's partner Lance was like my favorite. He reads erotica books and just...omg he needs his own book!

This one was fun, but only problem was that I felt like Meg's career stuff was kind of pushed off to the side. Stuff happens and she seems to have figured out what she wants to do, but it did feel a little like it was kind of an after thought.

All in all this is a funny romantic story, and I definitely want to read the other books in the series.
