I never in a million years thought that finding a lost pair of keys would lead to adventure.

All my life, I’ve been perfectly average. Compared to the rest of my high-achieving, type-A family, it feels impossible to stand out. While I’d love to make my big artistic dreams happen, I’m kind of stuck, thanks to a bunch of lame things like “affordable rent” and “keeping the internet on.” Dreaming doesn’t pay the bills. Freelance design work and part-time rideshare driving does. And it’s nice, for the most part. Finding a passenger’s thumb drive usually means reporting, returning, yay-hurrah-good-job-me. Except this time.

This time, I put the thumb drive in my computer. Hey, I’m just trying to be helpful! Suddenly a chat window pops up and the owner of the drive is bribing me to fly halfway across the world. Today. Turns out he's the super hot fare I haven't been able to stop thinking about...who just so happens to be Logan Weiss—the crazy-hot 29-year-old billionaire known as "the most eligible bachelor in tech”. What the hell am I even doing?
Mia Carter is a new to me author, but I thought this story looked really cute so I wanted to try it. The plot of the book is kinda of interesting. A ride-share driver picks a guy up, he leaves something important and something compels her to check who it belongs to. Which then turns into her going to Helsinki to meet the guy. I want to say I really did love that her sisters were like, "um...hello he might kill you, how about you don't go?" They were good sisters, but Chloe didn't listen. Which is good because if she did we wouldn't have this story.

If you like Billionaire Romances, this one might be for you. I don't think I've ever read a book that was set in Finland, but I was kind of obsessed with the country back in high school because I really liked the band HIM, so I was kind of about it.

I liked that the romance was kind of a slow-burn and it took a bit for them to make the move on each other. It was torture reading from their perspectives and watching them fight their attraction for each other because they were scared the other didn't feel the same. I mean torture in the best way because when they finally get together it was great. Chloe talks a lot in the book about her insecurities about her body and not being what me want, and oh my god, did I relate this the woman so much.

This one does have it's fair amount of sexy times in it. I thought the sex scenes were done well, but I do have a one beef with it. TALK ABOUT CONTRACEPTIVE! This is something that I have been noticing in romance books that is annoying. A couple I have read where the couple doesn't have the talk about should they use a condom, is the woman on the pill, etc. It comes up later in the post-sex like "oh, it's fine, I'm on the pill" or "oh, I have an IUD." It makes me so mad! Consent is important and talking about birth control should be too. It wasn't a dealbreaker with this book, but I think it's something the genre as a whole needs to think about.

It was a little annoying with the break-up in this one because why Chloe breaks up is kind of an invasion of Logan's privacy. Like, rude, girl. Also she just doesn't even try to talk to him, she just runs away. UGH! This was more annoying to be that the birth control thing. In the end it was okay because this book does have a HEA. Thank the hockey gods for patient men, is all I have to say.
