Kristen Leonard is done with setups. She’s not interested in your son or your nephew or your butcher or the guy who mows your lawn, thank you very much, grandma! After all, she’s a modern woman—she’ll take her chances on the algorithms of online dating to find her ideal man. Before long, she meets a man who might just be the one—he’s hilarious, quick-witted, and full of heart. And when she meets up with Cameron in real life, he certainly looks exactly like his profile picture…but something’s not quite right.

There’s really no telling what brought them together and all bets are off as to whether or not they can trust their hearts over their heads. After all, can you fall in love with someone you’re not sure you really even know?
Lucky Suit by Lauren Blakely is an Audible Original, that was available as part of the monthly original choices. I probably wouldn't have read it as soon as I did have I not been on such an adult romance kick lately. I haven't read any of Blakely's books before, and I think I still will try one of them. This one was just okay for me, and I think part of the reason was that it felt too short. It felt like I was missing a whole chuck of this story. I think I would have liked it better if it was a full length novel.

I loved Kristen's Grandma so much! That lady was quite a character, and I feel like this book was too short that we don't get enough of her. I mean, I would have even read a book about her, she was so interesting. Kristen to me was fine, but I felt like there were things about her that made her character feel kind of flat. I did like Cameron a lot, and I felt like I understood him more than Kristen.

The narration in this book goes back and forth between Andi Arndt as Kristen and Zachary Webber as Cameron. I really enjoyed Andi's narration and her voice really matched the age of the character she was portraying so I really liked that. I really liked listening to Zachary's voice when he was doing Cameron's part. He definitely knows what's up.

This book was just fine, it's okay. It's not bad, and it's a fun little romance book, I just felt like it was seriously missing something. I think it would have been greatly improved if it was a more fleshed out novel.
